  2. Request a sessionSend a short request from the coach's profile. It's free. We confirm with the coach and get back to you.
  3. Start trainingMeet your coach, agree the fee with them directly, and begin.

About Kocha

Plenty of people in Nairobi want to take up a sport, or get their children started, and get stuck at the first step: who do I call? Good coaches exist, but they're found through word of mouth, club noticeboards and WhatsApp groups.

Kocha puts them in one place. You can see who coaches what, where, for which ages and levels, and roughly what it costs, then ask for a session without needing to know anyone.

We're just getting started, in Nairobi first. Everything is free for now: we don't take payments or charge coaches. If you have feedback, we'd love to hear it at kochasports@gmail.com.

Privacy note

We handle personal data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

  • What we collect: the details you type into our forms, such as your name, phone number, email, area and message. Coaches also share their experience and certifications.
  • Why: to arrange the session you asked for, or to review a coach's application and create their listing.
  • Who sees it: our team, and the coach you request a session with. We never sell personal data or use it for advertising.
  • How it reaches us: form submissions are delivered to our email by a form service (Web3Forms), which may process data outside Kenya.
  • Children: requests for a child must be made by a parent or guardian. Please share the child's age only.
  • Analytics: we count page visits and button clicks without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent, by emailing kochasports@gmail.com.
